Full Hunter’s Moonlight Hike Wine & Cheese Social
55+ Take-A-Hike Series are part of the senior wellness program. These moderate 1 mile paved road hikes to the Crystal Bay lookout are offered by the Incline Village Parks & Recreation Department, National Forest Service and Washoe County Senior Services. Participants are encouraged to wear warm clothing. We provide transportation, camera, flashlights, and of course, the wine and cheese. For this hike, costumes are encouraged!

Meteorite Fragments Provide View into the Earliest History of the Solar System
The meteorite that broke up over the Sierra on Sunday, April 22, 2012 was one of the rarest types of meteorites to fall to Earth — a carbonaceous chondrite. This meteorite could turn out to be one of the most important observed fall since the late 1960s, says UC Davis professor Qing-Zhu Yin.
